I have been seeing Dr Ghura for a number of years and he has always been clear with the issues I have had and explans clearly what is needed for my treatment and the care I should take. I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend Dr Ghura to anyone with skin issues.

I cannot praise Dr Ghura and the team at the Alexandra Hospital enough for their professionalism and care. I had a growth on my eyelid which I was extremely nervous about having removed. I need not have worried as Dr Ghura totally put me at ease, carefully explaining the procedure and possibly what to expect. The end result is amazing. No scar or loss of eyelashes, and apart from a bit of swelling for 48 hours I was back to normal activity without a black eye or even needing pain relief. I just wish I had done it sooner. Thanks Dr Ghura. You are amazing.

I was recommended Dr Ghura by my insurance company, after getting a partial diagnosis from the NHS and left feeling concerned.
Dr Ghura patiently listened, settled my concerns. He went through full procedure to evaluate my condition. He was very clear about the results and the course of treatment and long term effect.
Given I have a skin condition causes by sun damage, Dr Ghura has given great advice that will allow me to live in the middle east and avoid any further issues.
I would highly recommend his services.

On first meeting with Dr Vindy Ghura he put me at ease straight away, and I felt extremely comfortable talking to him and explaining the concerns I had, relating to my appointment.
He listened to my concerns and explained the procedure, results and treatment clearly to me. Ensuring I was fully satisfied and comfortable before ending our appointments.

I visited Dr Ghura after doing my research and immediately knew I had made the right decision. I was at ease and felt confident in the advice and treatment that was recommended and subsequently performed. I had two procedures a few months apart. One, a small mole removal, the second the removal of a lipoma, both on my forehead so quite visible. I am absolutely delighted with the results! Barely a mark can be seen and I feel fabulous! I am so grateful, both experiences were extremely positive. I can’t recommend Dr Ghura highly enough. Many thanks!

Dr Vindy Ghura is a highly experienced and long-established Dermatologist of over 20 years. He is always aware of the impact skin disease can have on his patients. Dr Vindy Ghura is one of 70 fully trained Consultant Mohs Surgeons in the UK. Mohs Surgery is a specialist technique for removing the most difficult “non-melanoma” skin cancers (squamous cell and basal cell carcinomas and offers the highest cure rates. Dr Ghura set up the Mohs skin cancer service in Sheffield winning the Hospital’s Service development of the year award. Dr Ghura is honoured to have been elected President of the British Society for Dermatological Surgery (BSDS), the largest Skin surgery society in Europe and one to which almost all Dermatological (Skin) Surgeons and Mohs Surgeons in the UK belong to.
Dr Ghura has a Masters degree in Medical Education from Cardiff University (gained with distinction) and regularly teaches other doctors about skin disease. He has also been an examiner for the Royal College of Physicians for many years. He has given numerous lectures and talks on skin cancer and skin disease both nationally and internationally.
Dr Ghura has research interests in Skin Cancer, Surgery and Medical Education and has presented and published in all of these areas.
