I was referred to Dr Ghura for Mohs surgery to remove what turned out to be a rather large basal cell carcinoma. His detailed explanation of the procedure was helpful and reassuring. His approachable manner made it easy to discuss any concerns I may have had. The procedure itself was carried out with great care and with the appropriate explanation at each stage. The nature of the wound meant it was best not stitched, but this did require a number of dressing changes. These were arranged at a time when Dr Ghura was in attendance at the hospital so that he could check that the wound was healing properly. Dr Ghura carried out a final review when the wound had fully healed and at the same time checked that I had no other skin problems.

Dr Ghura provided excellent care throughout my treatment period. I felt very safe, was always listened to and informed every step of the way. Dr Ghura showed himself as an amazing specialist who deeply cares about his patients and is always happy to explain and answer any questions. I would highly recommend Dr Ghura.

When diagnosed with the BCC, I was initially very concerned. However upon my first visit with Dr Ghura, I began to feel comforted. He explained how BCC's were formed, their respective treatments and the prognosis. I was then scheduled into a surgery, which Dr Ghura organised around my commitments. On the day of the surgery, I was put at ease by the nursing staff prior to my procedure. The procedure was relatively quick and certainly painless. Regarding my recovery period, I ensured I followed Dr Ghura' s advice. I am happy to report 3 months on for the BCC removal, my scar is minimal (to the extent you cannot really see it). Should any of my colleagues, friends or family require a similar procedure, I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Ghura.

I have seen Dr Ghura on several occasions for different dermatological conditions and he has consistently delivered a high standard of care. He is polite, softly spoken but also articulate and extremely knowledgeable in his specialist field. I have referred him onto many friends and family members and will continue to do so.

I went to see Dr Ghura because I was concerned about several skin lesions that to me looked like moles but had only appeared over the past couple of years or so. Dr Ghura told me they were seborrhoeic keratoses and that they were fairly common, especially as we age and completely harmless, but if they were bothering me he could remove them. Removal was a very quick and simple process. Basically, he froze them by spraying them with liquid nitrogen. They scabbed over after a couple of days and within a few weeks had more or less disappeared. A few months later, a couple of them have disappeared completely, and a couple of them have left a very small pale patch on the skin. The procedure took about 5 minutes or so, and could best be described as "a little uncomfortable". I'd happily recommend Dr Ghura to anyone.
