This is the first time i have seen Dr Vijay he was very welcoming and made me feel at ease. he was very thorough and was happy to answer any questions I had, he didn't rush and is a good listener. I will be booking to see this doctor with any future appointments as I felt very comfortable to discuss things with him.

Dr Vijayadeva, was very thorough during my visit, I had several health issues and he ploughed through them with such ease. He listened very carefully, I felt he was a very dedicate Doctor, I would definately see him again.

I really appreciate your comments. It is always be a challenge to go through a list of problems with the limitation duration of a 10 minute consultation, so I am glad that it seems like a managed it this time (and it can explain why I often overrun at times). I would always recommend trying to feel as comfortable as possible to discuss the most important issue first as sometimes other issues might need to wait till the next consultation. Thank you for taking the time to leave me your feedback.

Dr Vijay has been my chosen GP for quite some time now. I felt compelled to write yet another review as I think positive feedback really adds value. Dr Vijay is always thorough, attentive and actually listens without rushing you along. He has an excellent manner, and makes you feel comfortable discussing whatever you are feeling offering support and guidance at the same time. I would highly recommend his as a GP and in my opinion the best GP at Barnabas Medical Centre... A real asset. I would like to personally thank you for everything that you have helped me through with in the last year. And thank you for being so caring, long may it continue! A shining example of a GP that puts patient care at the top of his list, well done.

Gosh, I'm lucky that you wanted to leave a 2nd review. Yes, positive feedback (if warranted!) can really help motivate us to keep going with some of the daily challenges we face. I do think practices benefit from a mixture of GPs with different skills, experience and consultation styles as different patients often prefer different GPs. It is great working with the whole team at Barnabas Medical Centre. Thank you for finding the time to leave me further feedback.

I didn't feel that i was being rushed and he didn't look at the nhs website like most doctors!

Response from Dr Shanker Vijayadeva

Thanks for your feedback. But I must admit I also do still look at websites like nhs.uk and patient.info quite a bit, as it can presents information in a patient-friendly manner and I have to check if my information/knowledge is uptodate.
