Dr Sutherland called me before the appointment to talk me through what would happen and answer any questions I had. On the day, he discussed things clearly and reassured me as I'd had issues with MRI scans before due to claustrophobia. Terrific doctor and would highly recommend
Dr Sutherland called me in advacne of my appointment for an MRI scan. he was helpful and thorough. On the day he was reassuring and kind.
i found this doctor absolutely great , made me feel so relaxed ,gentleman of the first degree , a great man
I felt the care I recieved from Dr Robert Sutherland was excellent. I would be more than happy to see him again.... He had informed me I was difficult to anaesthetise at my previous surgery, and the best option would be an awake intububation and although i was dreading this I remember nothing of it which was fab as I didn't want to remember anything.
The only thing I would have changed was that it was a few different anaesthetists involved in putting me to sleep and I was hoping it would just be Dr Rob as my surgery was performed on the 27th of January 2015 and I still have bruising, pain and tenderness from collapsed veins from 4 from the 4 failed attempts to cannulate my feet on that date.
I know Dr Rob can cannulate my hads and arms as he has done so in the past, so I was a bit disappointed at that but that's the only thing!
Dr Sutherland took time to contact me a few days before my daughter was due to be admitted as a Day Patient. I was able to give him information about my daughter, he then explained everything about the procedure and I was able to ask any questions.
He was very understanding, considerate of my daughter needs and able to put us both at ease on the morning of the procedure .
A very caring professional who made the day much easier to cope with.
