Having experienced cardiac events whilst undergoing previous GAs I am naturally very nervous regarding having further procedures requiring anaesthesia. I recently had surgery at the WGH in Edinburgh. Dr Nimmo was my assigned anaesthetist. She took the time to discuss what had happened to my in the past and understood what I was feeling at the time. I had my procedure under spinal anaesthetic. Susan was with me all the way, explaining what was being done and I really appreciated her support along with the whole of the theatre team. I had a really positive experience during a difficult time for me personally. I strongly endorse Dr Nimmo's professionalism and her regard for patient care... I really felt she put me first.
