He is definitely one of the best doctors I've come across in the bunch of all the ones at Watford general. My son was born breech and at his 2 months check everything was explained to us clearly and I felt so reassured with everything. If you're going to be at Watford general then request this doctor for your child.

Dr L'Heureux provides ongoing care for our son. He has shown exceptional ability in finding a diagnosis for a rare condition and has worked closely with a range of colleagues to secure this. He always listens well, explains difficult information clearly and cares for our son very professionally.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr L'Heureux. Prior to coming under his care, I knew that my young son had numerous complex health conditions, which we were struggling to get a diagnosis for. From the first appointment with Dr L'Heureux, it felt as if we were in the best possible hands. He arranged diagnostic scans and tests very quickly; organised and coordinated referrals to multiple other specialisms and helped us to focus on immediate ways of helping our boy by arranging occupational therapies which have made a huge difference. Throughout all of this (and we are now up to 10 consultants in four NHS trusts), Dr L'Heureux has been caring, explained difficult news to us with sensitivity, and has been open and honest about possible outcomes. He has given us as much time as we have needed during appointments; has called us outside of normal clinic hours to provide updates; and has been very open about the limits of his knowledge when we have asked questions about subjects outside his specialisms. He has followed up our appointments by doing everything he said he would do (letters, referrals etc.) quickly and thoroughly after each meeting. Due to the nature of our son's health problems, we have had some quite emotionally difficult conversations, and I have always thought he has handled those brilliantly, with tact and care but while still ensuring that we understood the situation and the significant implications of some of the health conditions. We both trust him implicitly and could not have asked for more. His secretary, Pauline, has also been excellent - very easy to talk to, and super efficient, which has been a real blessing given the number of other letters and appointments we have beed trying to organise. Thank you both!
