Was my doctor for my cmht don't know if he still is. No body tells you anything, they just expect you to know what's going on.

Can't be that constructive really. Reduced my medication and my condition got worse. Spoke last about November 2021 said he would ring in 6 months and not heard anything. You get a random phone call with a withheld number, no warning your getting a call.

I would recommend Dr Galgali although things did not work out well for me overall. For me the patient doctor relationship was not that good as he did not change his mind on certain views although other doctors and medical teams ruled things out. For example, there was misunderstanding over an incident in an A&E outside of Northampton. I went to A&E because I had a separate acute GI problem and during medical history which all doctors do I mentioned my PTSD since it effected me and also caused GI issues. As a precaution the team wanted to watch me overnight voluntarily during which I ate prepared food and allowed myself to have blood tests and etc to see what was causing the GI issues. Dr Galgali said that I should come off ADHD medications completely even though my ADHD medications had nothing to do with it. This was also contrary to what other doctors (In Bournemouth A&E one doctor said that I should stay on my ADHD medication in case they are any side effects from coming off them abruptly; it is also essential to my normal functioning for work and other things. These GI side effects are now better than before and are unrelated to my ADHD meds. I think that he probably miss understood the situation and probably saw the letter and since he is a psych doctor took a harder view. Nevertheless I was unhappy in that whereas other doctors did not act on Bournemouth A&E notes which explicitly mention my GI issues meaning that there should have been no confusion he did not listen well to me when I tried to explain that this was a voluntarily self admission for GI pain only and he had mis-understood things. I can see why this happened as I think that because he is a mental health doctor he has to consider things more compared to A&E physical health doctor. Nevertheless, he was very professional and is a good doctor overall.

Dr Nikhil Galgali after working with him for several years I am in a position to say that he is very supportive ,reliable colleague and team member . His communication skills are commendable and his knowledge is vast. He is well liked and respected by his colleagues and patient. As a colleague he is quiet supportive , he is approachable and spares time to listen to their problems and to coach them .
