As I attended the Rapid access one stop TIA and minor stroke clinic thanks must go to all the staff who dealt with me in a professional manner. All the tests were carried out quickly all completed and discharged within in 3 hours.

I was admitted to LRI on Thursday evening 10th January 2019 It must have been serious as we travelled to the LRI under flashing blue lights & siren. I was diagnosed with a "Blood Clot on the Brain" & looked after by a team of specialists upon arrival. I was consistently being attended to by all sorts of specialists & I thank them many times over for the care they gave me. It was during the rounds of the doctor that I met with Dr Musarrat. Under his guidance he arranged for many experts of a variety of specialities to get me back to normality. I was pronounced well enough to go home on Tuesday 15th. I am very much indebted to Dr Musarrat & his team & I am most thankful for the attention they gave to me. What is also a great help to Ward 25 is the housekeeping people who ply us with all things pleasurable during the day. The lady that has been a volunteer for 18 years & comes in at weekends & the lady that is there 5 days a week. These two ladies lift the spirit of the ward & you would like to be with them all day Now those that read this must try as I am doing to get a television fixed to the wall by some good Samaritan in Ward 25. The Ward apparently does not have the funds to get it sorted. Why do they need a tele fixing to the wall you may ask Well some light fingered thief picked up & walked off with the one from the day room Regards Bob Crabtree .

Took great care in understanding the precise details of the symptoms I had experienced and in probing the history of related problems and treatments offered. A series of tests were conducted and he explained clearly the results which followed. Though he was obviously the medical expert he always made me feel an equal in the conversations we shared and that my thoughts were listened to and valued. Medication was changed with clear reasons given. At the end of the day I felt more confident than ever before that my problems had been understood and effective treatment offered. Thank you!

Went in with suspected TIA. Analysis very thorough, attitude very engaging and listened attentively - requested and waited an hour to gather valuable information in the diagnosis. Was very clear and positive when it turned out not to be a TIA.

We found Dr Musarrat very pleasant. He was very thorough, asking what had happened and telling me what he was going to do. He had obviously read my file and the results of the treatment I had had. He explained everything to us and answered all the questions we had which was very reassuring. A follow up appointment was made on the day.
