I was admitted to LRI on Thursday evening 10th January 2019 It must have been serious as we travelled to the LRI under flashing blue lights & siren. I was diagnosed with a "Blood Clot on the Brain" & looked after by a team of specialists upon arrival. I was consistently being attended to by all sorts of specialists & I thank them many times over for the care they gave me. It was during the rounds of the doctor that I met with Dr Musarrat. Under his guidance he arranged for many experts of a variety of specialities to get me back to normality. I was pronounced well enough to go home on Tuesday 15th. I am very much indebted to Dr Musarrat & his team & I am most thankful for the attention they gave to me. What is also a great help to Ward 25 is the housekeeping people who ply us with all things pleasurable during the day. The lady that has been a volunteer for 18 years & comes in at weekends & the lady that is there 5 days a week. These two ladies lift the spirit of the ward & you would like to be with them all day Now those that read this must try as I am doing to get a television fixed to the wall by some good Samaritan in Ward 25. The Ward apparently does not have the funds to get it sorted. Why do they need a tele fixing to the wall you may ask Well some light fingered thief picked up & walked off with the one from the day room Regards Bob Crabtree .
