I waited nearly a year to see Dr Ghosh. Had so many trips to A&E this year with tachycardia, chest pain , palpitations , shortness of breath, weight loss etc. to be told that my beta blocker will help mask the symptoms and palpitations can be normal. I keep getting sent by health professionals to A&E when the symtoms are bothersome and the doctors keep saying there’s nothing they can do, it’s down to the cardiologists because they’re the experts.Sometimes the tachycardia episodes last over an hour and Dr thinks this is normal.I’ve emailed the secretaries sending all my tachycardia readings I’ve managed to record like he said , and I’ve heard nothing from him and found out that I’m not under a cardiologist anymore. I’d also put in these emails that I wanted to speak with him about medication he wanted me to switch to as I have questions about starting the medication. The only replies I get are that my emails will get forwarded to Dr Ghosh. Although my ECHO came back okay , something else needs to be done because I don’t want to keep suffering like this

Not impressed has still not come up with a diagnosis despite me still having symptoms that have hospitalised me.

Wonderful communication skills! Dr Ghosh listened to me and explored my concerns. I would have no hesitation in seeing this doctor again and would definitely recommend him to family or friends if they have any heart rhythm related problems.

Throughout the consultation process and up to and including my procedure (ablation) Dr Ghosh was professional, courteous and explained everything clearly and simply. He has an easy manner and treats patients like human beings. In theatre he was calm and relaxed which led to me being calm and relaxed! Top man!

Dr. Justin Ghosh showed an excellent caring/considerate attitude towards me when I was under his care recently, his professional clinical approach to my procedure ensured it was a success. From what I saw on the ward he adopted this approach to all his patients. He is a superb ambassador for Scarborough Hospital and indeed the Medical profession, I remain in his care and should I need any further procedures in the future and would have no hesitation in returning. I would say this to any patient referred to him in the future - You could not have a better consultant on your side.
