We met Dr Bhatt twice. On both occasions he took time to answer our questions and explain everything thoroughly. What's even more important I had a query in between our appointments and got professional advice easily and quickly.

Dr Bhatt has been reviewing my youngest daughter Sara for some 7 years and is now seeing her on a yearly basis. He is always prompt at calling us in, despite having a clearly very busy respiratory clinic. He has a kind and gentle manner, gets straight to the point and always involves me in enquiring as to her well being over the previous year.I trust his judgement implicitly, he is clearly a very experienced and knowledgeable health professional and as such, I would have no hesitation whatsoever in giving him the highest accolade. Dr Bhatt has looked after my daughter since she was referred aged 10 until she moved to adult services. The care has been exceptional - her health improved dramatically. We felt we could ring at any time when we had any worries. Dr Bhatt would ring back personally to give advice and support. He explained in detail about her condition and her treatment, in a way that was appropriate for her age and understanding. She looked forward to her hospital visits, and felt that Dr Bhatt and all his team showed a personal interest in her. She was particularly touched when he told her that he needed to treat her as a whole person, and was concerned about her emotional as well as her physical health. There is nothing more that would have improved the service - perhaps more resources for GPs so that she might have been referred earlier.

I would have no suggestions to Dr Bhatt for improving care as the level of care received by him is always at such an exceptionally high standard. We trust him implicitly as he has always shown such an exceptional attention to detail in taking care of our daughter. He is attentive and thoughtful with any issues raised and he gives appreciated advice. It is clear that he knows our daughter's case through and through and we never feel an inconvenience or that he is trying to push us through the door. In my experience it is rare to find a healthcare professional at his level that is so competent in people skills as well as in their medical knowledge. He has guided us through the early stages of learning our daughter's condition and how to manage it in as competent, professional and caring a manner as you could hope for.
