Our 7 year old son has just returned home following surgery to remove a tumour. We couldn’t have paid for better care in ward E40. The commitment and professionalism of the staff on the ward was humbling and we are forever indebted to those wonderful people

We have recently spent time on a number of different wards including PCCU, D33, D35 & D37. The care our son got was excellent, particularly on PCCU where I cannot fault the staff for their care of him as well as ourselves.

Overall the QMC is a good hospital that has provided my son with outstanding care. All areas are well sign posted within the building and all areas are easy accessible. However, outside the hospital the parking is horrendous. This is sad as all the staff we have been in contact with are outstanding in their field of work. I am disappointed to have to express this comment on a hospital that provides outstanding care. Appalling parking facilities and lack of information in regards to alternative parking is unacceptable! This needs to be resolved ASAP not just for the patients but also for the outstanding practitioners who work in the hospital and enable it to be an outstanding place of care.
