Myself and my partner have been seeing Dr Maksoud for 3 years now and we couldn’t recommend him enough. He is a lovely man who always takes the time to listen and encourages questions to ensure we thoroughly understand current situations and plans moving forward, giving us reassurance when needed. Dr Maksoud has always made us feel comfortable and he is the best Dr we have seen.

I have been seeing Hisham for over 15 years now and I cannot speak highly enough of him. His knowledge and understanding of my medical history and condition is second to none. He always makes time to see me and his help and advice over the years have dramatically changed my life and my health is now the best it has been in years. Most consultants, and certainly most GPs, spend about 10 minutes with you and cannot wait to get you out of the door with a prescription for symptoms. Not Hisham. He always looks at everything and bases his decisions on solving the root cause which in turn gets rid of the symptoms. His success rate with me over the years has been 100% and conditions I had for many years have now all been resolved or managed to a fantastic degree. Hisham always goes above and beyond and he listens to me as well as finding research I have done myself both interesting and useful. He never passes judgement or dismisses out of hand that any research I do is pointless or worthless – he takes it on board and incorporates it into my notes and medical history I have never known another consultant like him. He cares, he listens and he acts in a proactive way with proven results. He is a lovely person and I was always amazed that when he worked in hospitals everyone knew him and spoke very highly of him. He would always speak to cleaners and nurses in the same way he spoke to other consultants. The best decision I ever made was to see Hisham and I will continue to do so for as long as he is practising. Thank you for everything Hisham you are an absolute superstar.

I have been a patient of Dr Maksoud for over 10 years. He was the first of numerous doctors to really listen to me and take my symptoms seriously. My health increased dramatically once he began treating me and I only see him every six months now for check ups. He's always interested in everything that's going on with my health, not just my thyroid. He is the only doctor I have come across who treats me as a whole person. I cannot recommend Dr Maksoud highly enough. If only more doctors were like him....!!

I have been Dr Maksoud's patient for more than 10 years and I see him regularly. I know three other people who have been his patients as well. We are all in agreement that Dr Maksoud is an outstanding doctor and diagnostician. I have a number of conditions that are not frequently met with and Dr Maksoud manages them all with apparent ease - and treats me holistically. Over the years, I have become aware that he observes closely, he listens to my stories, he welcomes any data I give him and he researches thoroughly. He shares his thoughts fully and explains complex issues simply. He is an exemplar in shared decision-making because he shows his patients great respect and values their input - but, most of all, he sincerely cares.
