Dr Patel has looked after my mother in law for the last six years throughout her time in Lauriston House Care Home. When she was able to walk and to communicate she had nothing but praise for Dr Patel. He would sit, listen, no matter how long her story would take and he in turn made her feel relaxed, safe and he even persuaded her to take whatever medication was prescribed!! Often a challenge! Things have changed both physically and mentally and now my Mother in law’s needs are end of life care. Again, Dr Patel visits and reviews her regularly. He has always found the time to meet with me to discuss any concerns or changes in her health and should I need advice he would telephone and gently guide and explain possible outcomes. Dr Patel is a genuinely caring GP, a great communicator and a true professional who has always gone way beyond what is expected whilst maintaining the human touch. Don’t ever change. Thank you for the fantastic care you have provided to both my mother in law and the whole family. It has made this journey of highs and lows so much easier to accept.
