Obviously there is an element of anxiety with any surgical procedure but I was put at total ease by Dr Lamb and her staff, every step was explained to me making me feel completely relaxed.

Fiona Lamb was the Anaesthetist for my hip replacement on 15/2/18. She had a very caring attitude and visited me before and after my surgery. I cannot fault the care I received.

Dr Lamb was extremely comforting, I'm petrified of needles and she calmed me down by talking to me and even with some laughing gas to help calm the nerves. Unfortunately we struggled to find a vein because i was so nervous but she manage to use gas instead to send me to sleep which was a delight for me as i didn't have any pain or fear from the needle! However before any of this she made me feel reassured and that i could trust her! Thank you again for being so kind and understanding
