Dr Rafferty is a credit to her specialty having an excellent bedside manner despite spending the majority of her time looking after patients in no position to converse. Dr Rafferty took time to understand my medical history and explain the anaesthetic process and the peri operative period. I felt completely and utterly safe in her care.

I specialise in anaesthesia for urological, plastic and orthopaedic surgery and intensive care medicine.
I work closely with Professor Abhay Rane anaesthetising for major urological surgery, particularly laparoscopic nephrectomy and percutaneous nephrolithotomy surgery.
I am the Director of Medical Education at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust and have a distinction level MSc in Medical Education
