Ema showed the utmost care, kindness and support to our daughter and us, her parents during our daughter Grace Davies’ time at Kings Hospital. She went above and beyond her position, thinking about the best plan for Grace from a medical perspective yet also hoping to help us to get home as soon as she felt comfortable and as soon as Grace was deemed safe to do so. We felt in such safe hands with her. She was exceptionally professional but so kind and comforting. A wonderful doctor.

Dr Ema has been a part of my sons journey and my families for over a year now. We were blessed to have had such a great doctor helping us and giving us the answers we needed when we where so hopeless. I can never thank her enough for everything she has done for him and my family in one year. I was always at ease with Ema and trusted her beyond words. Ema is such a caring and kind hearted doctor like never seen before. Always communicated with me all her thoughts and her next steps in regards to my sons health. We truly appreciate Ema.

Ema Kavaliunaite has looked after my son many years. She is so kind and approachable. She is very thorough with her care and investigations.she is so knowledgable and has great experience. Ema explains things in great dept and in a way for us to understand. She is extremely comforting and has been there for me as a parent at very difficult times. She has great care for her patients and always wants what’s best for them.

Dr Ema has been a part of our journey since my daughter was one. She is now 4 going on 5 years this year. Dr Ema has seen us through some very difficult times, always respecting and seeking our views as a family. She has involved us in our daughters care throughout continually showing compassion, care and professionalism throughout. She is never too busy to talk through things with us or explain what may be going on and the different treatment plans available. To us as a family, she is one of the doctors we can never forget for her kindness and support. Being a parent to a child with complex health needs including trachy/ vented is so daunting and frightening however it is doctors like Ema that let you know that you are heard, important and listened to. She is such a valuable member for the team at GOSH and we are so happy that she has cared for our daughter
