I had my operation and felt at ease throughout the entirety of the proceedure I felt calm and comfortable as all the staff I had deaings with cared and listened to me. Things were explained in plain terms which I could understand and the amount of checking and double checking by staff regarding my personal circumstances

Dr Matthews visited my room and spoke to me prior to my visit to the operating theatre at the BMI Park Hospital. He was receptive to my questions which he answered comprehensively, thereby giving me reassurance. I had undergone a previous procedure at that Hospital and Mr Matthews was the gentleman who administered the anaesthetic on that occasion as well. Both times I was fully confident in the professional manner of his speciality and I did not feel any discomfort either when I he first sedated me or when I recovered following the procedure.
