I would recommend Dr Affleck to anyone who had a similar problem to me. From the initial consultation to the procedure itself, he was very professional, but at the same time made me relax. Although I had spoken to several doctors over a period of time about the mark on my face, they all gave me a different diagnosis. Thankfully I got him when I went to the Albyn Hospital in Aberdeen, where he diagnosed that it was lentigo maligna. He went through the options, but recommended that it should be removed. I was calm on the day of the procedure due to his previous manner and it only took around 40 minutes to complete. I had no pain during the procedure, nor since, with the scarring having healed in less than five weeks. I can only thank the "skin detective" for the excellent job he did.

Dr Affleck provided excellent advice and care, and explained everything very clearly. I had surgery to remove a mole and am very happy with the results. The scar is minimal and the whole experience was much less uncomfortable than I expected. I would not hesitate in recommending him.

So happy after contacting BMI healthcare who then made me an appointment with Dr Affleck. Definitely well worth the visits after being dismissed by own doctor as having an issue with acne. Felt like Dr Affleck listened, there were 4 treatments we could try, throughly went through and explained each treatment before deciding on one which seems to be going quite well. Check up appointment - more creams/remedies were prescribed for the side effects which are also working well and making the treatment better! So glad I went private. Thank you very much Dr Affleck!

Dr. Affleck treated me for atopic dermatitis. He recommended creams to me which were instantly effective and helped me to almost completely eradicate my skin problems within a few days. He gave excellent tips on keeping my eczema under control, and also did a skin test to investigate possible causes.
