I have suffered with Eczema for over 40 years and this is the first time in my life that I feel I am making some kind of headway in managing my eczema effectively. Dr Affleck was a great listener, courteous and has the ability to maintain an open mind to various treatments, especially with eczema, where one fix doesn't suit everybody I will definitely be using Dr Affleck again in the future.

*I have recently been diagnosed with alopaecia universalis after a very rapid hair loss on head and body.* Dr Affleck is very approachable, he listens to what you say and is above all knowledgeable in this field. Although it was not a diagnosis with a particularly positive outcome, he was able to reassure me and offer me avenues of support which I was not aware of!! He suggested to me several options of treatment that I had not considered but we both decided due to my past medical history some of them were not suitable. I would highly recommend Dr Affleck as an experienced and sympathetic dermatologist and would return to him if I needed a further consultation.

Dr Affleck's skills and manner speak for themselves but what is extra special is the whole team at Ninewells Dermatology department which must help create trust and confidence in even the most nervous patients. What they have cannot wholly be taught or bought so we must be glad that the present team have it in spades !
