I developed colitis in my 40s and have been under his care for 20 years at Central Middlesex Hospital. In June, I had a routine telephone conversation with him informing him that I had lost a lot of weight (three stone). He arranged a CT scan straight away at Central Middlesex Hospital and telephoned me the next day with the results that a lump had been found. He promptly arranged an appointment for me with a surgeon for me at St. Marks Hospital. I had the appointment with the surgeon and an operation was arranged at the Clementine Churchill hospital on 17 July 2020. I spent eight days in hospital and subsequently returned home to recover following the procedure. The diagnosis was rare neuroendocrine cancer has been found, which was removed as part of the surgery received. As part of my treatment, I had various scans, blood and urine tests. Thankfully I am now clear of any cancer but shall need regular scans as part of on-going monitoring. I wish to thank Dr Sharif formally for his care, support and attention to me during this difficult time as well as over the last 20 years. He always makes time to listen and reassure me with respect to my care. I have every confidence in him as my doctor and cannot find words good enough to express my thanks to him.

Hello, to be honest this doctor is one of the best doctors in London,I came from Lebanon suffering from chrone disease and the doctors there decided to do an operation, and when doctor Sharif saw the results he decided to postpone the operation for five years. Highly recommended.

I saw Dr Sharif at Clementine Churchill hospital and he was AMAZING. I’ve had a few endoscopies before and was told that I don’t have cancer or ulcers and was prescribed different medications which never helped and was left at that. I suffered with pain, discomfort and was in agony for long time to the point that I stopped eating and lost so much weight. Dr Sharif gave me much needed reassurance. Dr Sharif and his secretary were extremely efficient, very attentive, caring and he was the only one who successfully diagnosed my problems and put me on medications which worked finally and relieved all my symptoms. It was an absolute pleasure meeting Dr Sharif and I can’t be thankful enough for everything he has done for me.

Dr Sharif has helped me manage my Crohn’s Disease (and all of the odd side effects that can come with it) for 7 years. I’ve moved to the other side of London, but will travel back just to see him. He’s incredibly knowledgable, current with the latest treatments, and a genuinely great person. I wish he could be my doctor for everything. Thank you, Dr Sharif! MH
