I saw Professor Gatrad recently as I was concerned about a cough that has been ongoing with my Son. He actively listened to my concerns and gently examined my son's chest. Professor Gatrad has a lovely gentle nature (so important when dealing with children). I was slightly worried he may see me as a neurotic mother but he had a totally non condescending nature and on both occasions that I have seen him, has explained the issues and course of action needed in a clear, concise way. I feel lucky to have found Professor Gatrad and would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Would highly recommend Dr Gatrad. Dr Gatrad took the time to listen to us as parents and take on board all of our little ones history. He assessed our little boy with care and professionalism. We felt he really explained things thoroughly and in a manner in which we found understand and didn't feel too overwhelming A really friendly, caring and experience paediatrician.

Professor Gatrad had a very warm and caring manner which made my daughter feel immediately at ease. He was extremely thorough in his consultation and examination and at no point did we feel under any time pressure - quite the contrary in fact. His many years of varied paediatric experience were very apparent throughout and he inspired complete confidence in us as parents and in my daughter as a patient. I also feel that he went above and beyond in post-consultation follow-up even after subsequent investigation and treatment have taken us in direction which is outside his immediate remit. Hopefully we will not need to seek paediatric medical attention in the future but if we do Professor Gatrad would be our first port of call and we would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone in a similar situation.

The best experience I have ever had with a medical professional. I visited for my daughter, the detailed conversation at the time of the consultation was absolutely helpful. The routine the dr gave my daughter and the changes made had solved her issues. We could not be more delightful and happy with the result. Prof Gatrad really supported us in establishing our son's milk allergy as well as understanding his reflux issues. This was the first time I felt that I had been 'heard' by a medical professional & the assurance he had provided relieved my concerns wholeheartedly. My child has been seen by Prof Gatrad recently and on a few occasions over the past few years for different medical reasons. On every occasion he has accommodated flexibility for appointment timing. During the appointment he examined my child in caring professional manor and made us feel confident and relaxed in the examination.
