They all took great care of me, especially as this was the first wisdom tooth I’ve ever had out. Making sure I was okay with everything and taking breaks when I could. They explained everything to me and I felt in great hands.

I had Temporal Artery Biopsy carried out by Dr Mumtaz. He was extremely caring and friendly, he put me at ease and explained the procedure in a very reassuring way. His team of nurses were also very friendly and supportive. Everything was carried out in an excellent and highly professional manner.

Mr Shadaab Mumtaz: Nov 2023, Basal Cell Excision I am immensely grateful to Dr Mumtaz for his professionalism and care during my recant surgery. A few weeks ago a doctor taking biopsies of basal cell carcinoma, on my forehead, described the area as “huge”. A couple of weeks later Dr Mumtaz removed the carcinoma. The procedure was complicated but was completed perfectly and with great precision. Dr Mumtaz was careful, diligent and the staff were excellent. The procedure was carried out under local anaesthetic. The theatre was clean, comfortable and the whole atmosphere calming and convivial. I felt perfectly at ease. Recent follow up visits to Dr Mumtaz have also been reassuring. Different layers of dressing were removed showing good healing progress. There will be another visit in a few week’s time but I feel confident that a full recovery is well on the way. My only regret is that I hadn’t seen my GP about this sooner. I should like to convey my most sincere thanks and gratitude to Dr Mumtaz and all his staff for their care and attention during my visits to the hospital. They are a credit to the L&D. Avid Cyclist
