I came to Alex at a low point, following major surgery after a serious cycling accident. He very patiently worked with me over some intense sessions and started to release and mobilise my arm. He was utterly focused and motivational...carefully explaining each process and the results achieved. He guided me through a carefully planed out course of exercises, increasing the flexibility and strength of my arm. I've felt energised by the support and encouragement I've had from Alex. My surgeon is over the moon with the progress we've made, as am I. I'm happy to acknowledge the huge part Alex has played in my recovery.

Alex qualified from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2012 and proceeded to work for a charity in the south of the country before returning up north to work in St Helens NHS trust for 6 months. During this period he worked in a number of areas but musculoskeletal was always his main area of interest.
It was from here that Alex moved to work for Sale Sharks rugby team where he originally started working with the junior academy. After one season he changed roles to working with the senior academy and first team. He worked for the club for two years and in which time he was part of a medical team that had the lowest injury rates in the premiership.
In the last four years Alex has completed a number of physiotherapy courses to help further develop him as a physiotherapist. He works very much as a manual therapist but enjoys spending time using his rehabilitation knowledge to ensure his patients can return to full function.
