I enjoyed my experience and all the members of staff who were involved with my appointment were very helpful and friendly. My Optometrist was Pujab (apologies if that spelling is incorrect!) who answered all my questions and explained my prescription to me in full. I also spoke with a young lad whose name I cannot remember, I think he was in training but he was very friendly and helpful, wasn't pushy and didn't rush me in choosing my frames. My partner was also impressed with the service and he booked his own eye test on the back of my appointment :)

The new layout at meadowhall does not work. The small narrow corridor you are put in to wate to be seen is awkward. The members of staff was fantastic and helpful but felt like they were pushing products when I was was told about the same product by 2 or 3 different people. I didn't like this as I felt they was pushing product instead of what was the best for me. After the appointment I was uncomfortable looking at frames as the desks where people are sat in the middle do not leave much room to browse without feeling like I was 2 close or part of there appointment. I ended up not looking at some frames because it felt too awkward. Booking the appointment was easy and everything ran on time with is good but the new layout doesn't work!

I did book two appointments for my daughters and was told i would recieve a text message to confirm. The text came to confirm appointment time like they said but when i arrive the text was for the second appointment which meant i missed the first one. When i asked if they could fit my daughter in still they replied no the appointment was missed. I would have thought i should have recieved two messages for two appointments not just the one message.

Samuel offered a superb customer care experience with a very friendly low key approach He kept me fully informed about all stages of the process and ensured I got the glasses I wanted that were most appropriate to my needs This is the forth time my family and I have used the Meadowhall store and we will be returning shortly with another family member All the staff I came into contact with were excellent
