I was very scared before my appointment, having had Breast Cancer last year I was convinced I had Cervical Cancer, especially with all symptoms I had. Lois totally put my mind at rest from the time I met her, she talked me through every step of the examination, and after the examination talked me through the next step.

She was a excellent nurse. One of the best I have ever seen. Very friendly. Took time to explain everything properly and treated us with a lot of respect. I wish there where more nurses like her.

Lois explained what was going to happen and why and she was examining me, kept me informed. She also gave me post-examination feedback, even about the way in which I would be informed about the biopsy

I would highly recommend Lois and her team. They made me feel at ease immediately as I was extremely worried and not looking forward to the procedure. They all showed a personal interest which helped to relax me and Lois kept me informed all the way through. I left with a clear understanding of what had been happening and reassured I had nothing to be concerned about.

Excellent patient flow which meant care was coordinated and efficiently delivered.
The ANP and nursing staff were pleasant and friendly which put me at ease.
I was very confident of the knowledge and experience of the ANP.
Clear explanation given of procedure, results of visual examination and follow up care.
I certainly rate this visit very highly.
Well organised, structured and positive patient experience for me.

I have been working at Queens Hospital as a Nurse Hysteroscopist and Advanced Nurse Practitioner since 2005. I enjoy my role in supporting women with menstrual issues who are referred to my own nurse-led clinics.
