Fiona has been brilliant, very knowledgeable ,calm, caring and patient. she helped me sort out all my stoma product needs. I now feel very confident with my ostomy and i know she is just a phone call away if i need her.,

Fiona is my stoma nurse, she has guided me through getting used to my stoma and through her experience and knowledge has made what could be a very difficult time much more manageable. She is caring and patient and has helped me to understand how to work with my stoma to make life as normal as possible in the circumstances. Fiona has always been available to answer any questions I have had with empathy and compassion.

I reviewed Fiona here on 28th January 2022. Unfortunately I made an error by incorrectly reporting the date period of my care from her. My apologies for this, so for the record my surgery (Abdo Perineal Resection) was recently on December 3rd 2021. The rest of my review comments given on 28th January were absolutely accurate. I can only repeat the gist which is that I received timely excellent care from Fiona, sincere thanks for this.

I have had the major surgery of Abdo Perineal Resection on 3rd December 2019. So my feedback is all the more exceptional in the context of care being provided approaching Christmas and New year period, as well as ongoing Covid prevention demands. Fiona had prompt referral from the hospital stoma nurse as I was discharged home. From then on I have been totally supported by Fiona on this new and challenging task of coping with my permenant colostomy. I had telephone contact directly, and regularly planned calls, as well as 2 home visits. We have now agreed as I'm adapting to my stoma care routine, Fiona will continue review and support in her clinic. In summary Fiona has helped me with her knowledge, skill, empathy, professionalism and caring approach. Her support has also extended to my husband also, which means a lot.
