Very unhappy about two members of staff ,one in particular who was so rude for no reason it was unprovoked .I was reduced to tears and as i suffer from depression i am still feeling very upset .It really is a shame as 98% of staff wonderful .and do a fantastic job . I have never experienced any thing like it in my life . I do not know the persons name but if i did i would make a complaint to C Q C .

I was in the cardiac catheterisan suite day unit at Watford General Hospital had a Angiogram which resulted me having a Stent inserted as I had blocked arteries. I had a wonderful doctor Dr Will Wallis who performed the procedure, he made me feel so relaxed and at ease & explained all what he was doing every step of the way. The nurses also in the NNU day unit were marvelous, caring couldn't be beaten unfortunately I can't remember all their names otherwise I would, I was so nervous but the Doctor & nurses made me feel so at ease absolutely brilliant.
I had to take my husband in yesterday with visual disturbance. They were brilliant from beginning to end .
All of the staff were professional, caring and considerate. A very reassuring experience for me during a difficult time
X-ray reception. The young lady who checked us in (white T-shirt no nurse uniform) was outstanding. Welcoming, friendly and helpful. Wish all ur departments had such friendly staff. Takes anxiety away.
I was very impressed by the care received by the Out of Hours GP, and also Sam in A & E triage. Subsequently the DVT nurse, Welmita, went out of her way to help expedite my appointment and was outstanding in all respects of my time in ACU. Much appreciated.
One downside was the patient toilet in the Vascular Lab area on 3rd floor, which was disgusting.
Bot a great hospital and I would advise against attending here
I received excellent care from all the staff I encountered at Watford General Hospital. The wait in A and E was lengthy but it was busy that night.
I was on more than one ward while waiting for the operation (fractured ankle) and very impressed by the professionalism of the doctors, nurses and auxiliaries.
I am now attending physiotherapy sessions at Abbots Langley and progressing well.
Please thank everyone who has been involved in my care - you have made a difficult time in my life so much easier.
The nurse who saw me before the doctor was really rude, I felt intimidated and not comfortable talking to her.
When I wanted to tell about my previous visit at A&E she was not interested and kept asking why I visited A&E today.
I found her attitude very upsetting, I would rather suffer at home than being exposed to such a treatment.
I have been paying my taxes for over 20 years, very rarely used NHS, either doctors or hospitals and really didn’t expect that. I regretted my coming to the hospital.
