I went into The Holly for major surgery - I would like to thank Janet in Reception, Claudia Carmen - Healthcare Assistant, Megan & Latoya, Purita Talampas, Tijen Yussuf, Jill, Maria, Dr. Ugo, Dr Fatima Zulfiqar, and Daniela Focsa, Kelly and Denise from Catering. All these people looked after me really well before and after my surgery and got me well enough to be discharged home. All these staff members were absolutely amazing, treated me with utmost respect and kept me informed about my condition and medication all the time. The care and attention I received was of a very high standard and I was treated in a very clean and safe environment.
A very big thank you to my Consultant Miss Sandra Watson - she listens - helped me to get where I am now - completely recovered from this major surgery - she is the best and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking an Obstetrician & Gynaecology Consultant.
As far as I am concerned everything was perfect!
Extremely professional, personable and courteous staff and Dr Ashraf throughout my visits.
The Holly treated me like any other patient even though I was an NHS patient in a private hospital. The venue is clean, bright & welcoming, & the staff are all very accommodating in every sense.
I arrived at The Hollies on the 21/2 for a procedure. My partner and I were shown to a private room where we were told we could remove our masks and get comfortable. After about half an hour a Health Care assistant named George entered the room. His first words were 'No masks?' My partner explained that we were told that we could remove them but that we were happy to put them back on if he would like. She was ignored. George then picked up my notes and asked why I was there. I explained. George then went on to pick up my phone and my partners handbag that were on the table and practically threw them at my partner. He then spread out the paperwork and left the room. When George returned he asked me a question that I struggled to answer due to the strong medication that I am on so my partner elaborated for me. George then asked me the same question. My partner stated that she had just replied. George then pointed his finger at me and said in a very aggressive manner 'I'm asking him'. I asked him what the attitude was about and he left the room.(I would also like to note that George had turned his name badge around so that we couldn't see.We obtained his information from other nursing staff) A nurse named Maria entered a short time after who was very pleasant and booked me in as expected. I have never in my life experienced such an aggressive, rude individual as George was. I honestly can not believe he is working in the role he is in with such a poor manner and bad attitude. Subsequently, my procedure was cancelled that evening and was rebooked for a later date. Upon my return I was treated very well from reception to nurse to consultant(Dr Khan) It is such a shame that somebody such as George lets the hospital down.
I have just had cataracts in both eyes removed at The Holly as an NHS patient. At every stage from reception to treatment staff at The Holly were great and the whole experience was superb.I would always choose to be treated at The Holly if offered the choice.
