The orthopaedic unit staff were all exceptionally able and helpful. I was there for two nights and it was a good as it could have been. The unit appeared clean and well maintained.
There was a miscommunication as to my discharge- I got myself ready to leave on the day after surgery only to be told by the chap delivering the lunches that I was staying for another night. ( I was very happy to do so).
Well looked after staff and doctors were very friendly and helpful.
Hospital was disgusting blood and dirt on my bed floors we’re filthy I was stuck in a room with someone very sick and could not hold her bodily functions, blood tests was bad had to do it again he never knew what he was doing.... very unhygienic place in A&E
Well looked after.
Food was terrible.
Car parking charges extortionate
Totally positive experience. The hospital was spotlessly clean and the staff were kind and helpful. Grateful for our wonderful NHS. I had to wait a few hours which wasn't a problem for me but may be for some people.
Visited as an outpatient for annual check up after surgery at Brighton and Sussex hospital - care at both hospitals excellent
An amazing group of staff, especially nursing and catering. The level of care left me reluctant to leave and everyone deserves recognition. Nurses are clearly the backbone of the service, and their daily efforts in each of the wards were relentless. Thank you /them!
The care I received before, during, and after my day surgery was excellent. Everyone was very kind and considerate making the experience the best it could have been. The nurse allocated to me for the day could not have been better, and it was very reassuring to have the same person looking after me throughout.
Poor signposting to the relevant department made things a little confusing on initial arrival.
brilliant in every way - please see review of my care by Mr Benedict Rogers and team, and all at the Twineham and Newick Wards
