Good communication apart from one or two occasions probably due to very high work load at the A&E department.
Some of the doctors asked me again the reason I visited A&E. They should read the information provided by the patient earlier before speaking with them.
Nurses where wonderful.... Doctors very matterafact... But was extremely busy, and I think a shortage of doctors. When sent to ward .. a different story!!
I suffer from Crohns I came in with a flareup last Tuesday. I was not given a sick bowl in accident and emergency. I threw up all over myself. A&E ignored me until a visitor called a A&E nurse to say help me as I was ferociously, coughing up blood.
My vital taken I kept mentioning I was with Dr Samata, who is with King George and Queens Hospital. A Gastro consultant. They continuously refused to take that information and all they wanted to do was just pump me up with morphine. I was not even given a wristband to say, I was in hospital the way King George run the staff some of them have no empathy not have no compassion. I was constantly told a junior doctors get paid £14 an hour. What do I expect if that is the case please let us all patients know and we will look for private healthcare, because if this is why we’ve been treated so badly God save us
I wanted to convey my gratitude and thanks to all nurses and to the Doctor and Consultant who looked after me. You guys are doing an amazing job day in day out with a smile on your face saving thousands of lives. If there is to worship anyone in the world it has to be you where you are making an incredible difference and contribution to peoples life. May you be blessed with great health and happiness.
Arrived at 1700 hrs left at0900 next day
Diagnosist changed from day doctors to night doctors until doctors spoke to me about midnight was sitting in armchair not knowing what. Was going on.
The staff were very nice which I appreciated. Also very friendly.
I went into A&E with suspected Angina. Either I have angina thus take me into Emergency care immediately or discharge me immediately. In stead, I have been made to wait in the general waiting hall for 8 hours. I left at 1:30 AM without getting discharged. I understand Docs attend Emergency cases but my case is either t or not. It was a waste of time for me and shows how inefficient NHS has become.
Super long wait time for a minor injury. Made me wait 7 hours, Might as well go home.
I felt safe and well cared for I couldn’t of been more satisfied with all the staff I.e. nurses and doctors they were all lovely and I was delt with compassion!!
The care I hit was very timely. This save my life.
