Since the Heene Road surgery came under Worthing Medical group.
I personally have found the surgery proactive and helpful including - doctors, nurses, phlebotomists, nursing assistants, reception staff and pharmacy.
The new hours for ringing up for an appointment makes it much more accessible.
Suggested improvements
I think using phone appointments to triage is helpful particularly when working but may not be suitable for more vulnerable groups and maybe more than 4 appointments a year a face to face appointment should be triggered.

Usually a long wait on the phone to speak to receptionist.
On the call back it can be difficult to understand the dr sometimes, maybe she could speak a little slower ???
Suggested improvements
Nothing on this occasion as the nurse was extremely thorough and asked for a drs opinion re an issue she was unsure of. An extremely kind and helpful dr saw me.

Many thanks for your feed back. With regards to booking appointments, we do appreciate that it can take time to get through on the phone. In light of this we have increased the time patients can access the appointment system, which now closes at 12 o'clock. Patients also have access to the Online Consultation System called Patient Triage. You will be able to access this via the Worthing Medical Group website or the NHS app. Patients will be able to submit a non urgent requests, sick notes, repeat prescriptions, provide details of new or ongoing symptoms or see online guidance

At all times the receptionists are extremely pleasant, helpful and do their best to make arrangements for as soon as you need either blood tests our speaking with one of the Doctors.
Suggested improvements
In our present state of overcrowding and high demand I can't think that the practice good improve what they are already coping with.
