It is quite tricky to get an appointment but a new telephone system and 'patient access' should improve this. Receptionists have improved but can sometimes be stroppy

I've been a member of this doctors surgery for 6 years now and so happy with the improvements they have made recently. They now use patient access app to book appointments which a lovely gentleman on reception was so helpful with getting set up for me and the telephone service is now the best I have ever experienced from a GP. I also can not speak highly enough of a doctor there called Dr Clare Stephens as well. I've seen a lot of doctors in my life time and but she is defiantly the best. she makes you feel so cared for and listened to your every need, her knowledge is outstanding as well. If you really need a good GP I'd recommend seeing her for sure. Ok the facilities could do with a little upgrading however that's not why you go to a GP, you go because you need their help and they certainly do help from the gentlemen on reception to the Doctors who care for you - highly recommended. Thanks for looking after me :)

Computerised appointment system works well Appointment within 1 week Had to wait to actually see the Doctor but realised that other patients were getting great care and therefore the 10 minutes (or was it 20?) allocated were ignored in the interest of patient needs

Booked appointment it isn't easy like when you want to see a doctor and after you booked and you came to the GP for appointment with some of the doctors it takes long wait.

Firstly its very hard to reach them on phone, and if you are lucky, someone will answer your phone. Next appoints are always 2/3 weeks or more than that away. If you are lucky and get one, be prepared to wait for hrs even if you reach on time. GPs never start on time, so you will end up good 2/3 hrs at this Practice. If you are unlucky you end up with Salaried GPs who will google your symptoms and find solutions and even print it for you. And if you are really unlucky like us, and are expecting a baby, your pregnancy referral letter to hospital will get lost and would never reach the hospital. Be prepared to make numerous trips and beg them to send pregnancy referral. You are better off going to A&E instead.
