Surgergy is ok but their prescription team should go back to school and learn how to read numbers as they mess up almost every prescription. Very frustrating as I have to complain and chase them to get me the missing difference.

I despair about Florence Road surgery, today I tried 21 times to get through to a receptionist by phone. I was cut off, stuck in a queue, it just pains me writing about how frustrating it is to contact the surgery by phone. I asked to speak to the Practice Manager but was cut off.... I think the Surgery needs a complete rethink and retraining on Call Handling and Customer Service. There are an awful lot of admin staff but no appointments. Things seem to be getting worse.

I have been a patient at the surgery for over eleven years. Everyone is always pleasant and compassionate and it is clear that the surgery is doing its best to provide care in a difficult time with little funding. I have used the triage service on occasions and had telephone appointments, I know that all of the team do their best for their patients. I would especially praise Dawn Douglas, who is a wonderful nurse.

I was contacted several times in the evening by an unknown phone number after my appointment for a painful knee was rearranged due to ill health. I have a habit of not answering unknown numbers..PPI etc. I have to say that the calls were from a very Customer care focused member of the administration/reception team of the surgery, who was desperately trying to advise me of an available appointment the next day. She called even though here shift had finished. In the morning I received a call first thing at 0800hrs telling me that she had secured me an appointment for that day if I could make it. I was so grateful to this member of staff who realised that I was in need of a doctor's consultation. Consequently I was seen and referred to the hospital to gain an X-Ray. This was definitely a showing of Customer care that was over and above expectations. Thank You So Much Selwyn

VERY POOR PROFESSIONALISM, I CANNOT TRUST THEM. I suffer a weird allergy reaction which is happening each two weeks. I have gone to my GB at Florence road surgery and she recommended me to take pics of my reaction because she didn't know which one was my problem..( obviously....you should send me to an specialized doctor the first time I visited you ) .after my third appointment to my GP for the same issue, she finally requested an appointment with the specialist, this was 3 weeks before and today I have received the letter for the appointment for the next 16th of October..I am getting this reaction each 2 weeks, moreover my family history have several problems with the blood, the most of the have died caused of this ..IF YOU ARE THINKING TO GET A GP , PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE.
