I was contacted several times in the evening by an unknown phone number after my appointment for a painful knee was rearranged due to ill health. I have a habit of not answering unknown numbers..PPI etc. I have to say that the calls were from a very Customer care focused member of the administration/reception team of the surgery, who was desperately trying to advise me of an available appointment the next day. She called even though here shift had finished. In the morning I received a call first thing at 0800hrs telling me that she had secured me an appointment for that day if I could make it. I was so grateful to this member of staff who realised that I was in need of a doctor's consultation. Consequently I was seen and referred to the hospital to gain an X-Ray. This was definitely a showing of Customer care that was over and above expectations. Thank You So Much Selwyn
