RUBBISH! Dr's need basic training to update their skills and knowledge. This may well be a new surgery but you still have the same outdated staff, Dr's and receptionists working here. The only GP who is any good is the newer younger one because he is not long out of med school and hasn't had time to develop the arrogance of the older GP's..........

I have been registered with Shephall Way Surgery for over 30 years. In that time I have contracted meningitis and puemonia, both diagnosed instantly and resulted in my admission to hospital within the hour. I have asthma and experienced a period when it was difficult to manage, throughout the care I recieved from the practice doctors and nurses was excellent. I can honestly say that my asthma is now fully under control and has been for many years. I currently have an on-going shoulder problem which is being addressed. I am treated equally with care and consideration but also as an intelligent person who is responsible for making decisions about the best treatment for me. I have waited four and a half months for an appointment at the muscular-skeletal clinic (this is not a reflection on my GP but on the wieght of demand placed on stretched NHS services) when I arrived at the clinic the person responsible for my treatment had a letter from my GP - Dr Savage, which was supportive and thoughtful in referring to my circumstances. I think this practice is excellent and providing the best care in the difficult circumstances all public services find themselves in. I would heartly recommend this surgery to anyone moving into the area.

I can't believe some of the reviews I'm reading on here. This is my local doctors and I try not to see a doctor unless I really have too. When I do they are so helpful and it's easy to get an appoitment. My wife is still registered at another doctors and it takes sometimes up to a week to get an appoitment. The last time I went I had an appoitment within 2 hours of calling. All doctors and staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. I suppose the only downside is the building itself but they have just moved to another premises. Can't comment on this building as yet

Miss diagnosed sepsis after returning from a period of 2 weeks with a urine infection whilst being heavily pregnant. Luckily called for an ambulance which sent me straight to a&e where I then required an emergency c-section. Could of been resolved had the GP given a repeat antibiotics.
