The staff doctor, reception are helpful while working under pressure. Treatment is always good and diagnosis thorough.

Firstly I would suggest that the reception team have some customer service training. I have only ever dealt with one polite and efficient receptionist. The attitude of the others is generally unhelpful and rude. I have recently called three times to get an appointment only to be told that the first time I was ringing it was too soon for the diary to be available; the second that they weren't sure it was a service they offered and the third that there is only one Doctor who can provide the service and they don't know when that Doctor will be back!! I have been promised a call back but of course this hasn't happened. I don't think it's a particularly complicated request; I need a contraceptive implant removed because it has come to the end of it's recommended time. Guess I'll have to find somewhere else that can do that. I haven't had an appointment but this review system makes you choose a date!

It can be difficult to get a quick appointment, and getting through on the phone is never easy however, the receptionists help as much as possible and once you have the appointment everything seems to go well. The waiting room is comfortable and you tend not to be there too long. There are nurse based clinics and a nurse to do the blood tests, saving visits to the hospital. There are lots of leaflets available but more local information would be helpful. After 16mths I have just found out about a Diabetes group quite close to where I live. This would have been useful when I was first diagnosed. I have just signed up for the online service for prescriptions and appointments. Hopefully this will prove helpful.
