Share review of Selden Medical Centre
It can be difficult to get a quick appointment, and getting through on the phone is never easy however, the receptionists help as much as possible and once you have the appointment everything seems to go well. The waiting room is comfortable and you tend not to be there too long. There are nurse based clinics and a nurse to do the blood tests, saving visits to the hospital.
There are lots of leaflets available but more local information would be helpful. After 16mths I have just found out about a Diabetes group quite close to where I live. This would have been useful when I was first diagnosed.
I have just signed up for the online service for prescriptions and appointments. Hopefully this will prove helpful.
Thank you for your very helpful feedback. I would be really interested to hear more about the local Diabetic Group you mention so that our Diabetic Nurse could forward this information onto other patients. If you have any problems with the online appointments and prescriptions please let me know - thanks again for taking the time to leave feedback - Hazel Donaldson, Practice Manager.
