They've changed the appointments system so that it's almost impossible to get one. Used to be so good, it's sad. Three times I rang for a day appointment, stayed on phone over an hour each time, no appointments left. I just spent 40 minutes waiting to book an appointment in advance...nothing available. It's dreadful.
I visited Preston Park Surgery in December 2024 as I had a wound on my leg that needed care …. Before changing the dressing Nurse Ruth noticed I was a bit emotional’not your usual self’ she said. She took some blood tests which I don’t think had been requested - going with her instinct. These showed I had a severe b12 deficiency. I then had a course of B12 injections…. A year and a bit later I’m fighting fit. Taking much more natural b12 in my diet. No need for any drugs. Thanks to Nurse Ruth’s intuition. Well done.
Was told to make a doctors appointment to check my blood pressure have to wait a month for appointment but maybe at guys hospital has my lung cancer is back and will be having deep radiotherapy
Always helpful staff, from reception to GPs.Appointments usually available.
'doctors' here have misprescribed multiple times, causing massive bleeding and rush to A&E on one occasion, causing strokes on another. Both times we queried the meds/dose and were either ignored or told to keep taking the (dangerous) meds. No apology ever. Avoid.
