The Surgery, in my opinion, is brilliant. Although it may be hard to get an appointment at times. I think more pre-bookable appointments should be available as no matter how hard you try it is sometimes impossible to get through to the surgery first thing in the morning. Also when a Doctor is requested to do a home visit, they should. Not phone up to see what happening. The whole point of requesting a home visit is because we are not doctors, and are worried for those we love. I am a carer for my husband, also disabled myself, so when he need help I expect the doctors to come out. Generally the surgery is Brilliant, Just a few doctors who let the side down. I se both sides, as a patient and as a carer.
It's still a total nightmare getting an appointment loads of time ive been trying an hour or left connected for 40mins then the other end hang up , last time i had appointment it took 2mins when i asked the dr could he check on a allergy that the hospital was confused about i was told you need to make another appointment as its only a 10 min slot { eh ive only been here for 2min } --------------------------- I CANT REMEMBER THE DATE MY LAST APPT WAS SO HAD TO PUT 26/10/2014
Nurse practitioner Gerald has been very disrespectful to me and my family and would recommend no one see him. he is very rude! also i can never get an appointment i ring up at 8 every morning and can never get an appointment or book on for another day! the receptionists are very unhelpful and never pick up the phone. if could change doctors i would! purely because of reception. once you get an appointment the majority of the DOCTORS not practitioners are excellent its just trying to get to see them which is the problem!
