I have been reading the reviews for this surgery and am finding them doubtful. My my experience I have never had a problem making an appointment and I find all staff very helpful and curteous

Having put a prescription from the hospital to be signed by a doctor on 28th May was told to call back following Tuesday to pick it up. Arrived Tuesday afternoon to have the door closed in my face and told the surgery has closed and to come back tomorrow. Went back following day and was told that the prescription had already been sent to the chemists ready to be picked up. Went to the chemists and was told they didn't have it so she tried to phone the surgery but after 20mins told me it would be quicker to back to the surgery. Went back and was then told that they hadn't even printed it off, which the helpful receptionist then did but the very abrupt and rude dark haired receptionist butted in and barked at me that there was no one to sign it and to come back. I was then told to wait and after 40 mins waiting for a signature I asked how much longer and was told if I'm desperate for it I'll wait which is when I left. Customer service training for receptionists is obviously extremely poor and needs redressing.

Diabolical surgery...today I called in to see my disabled mother who apart from being extremely disabled with arthritis also has ms. My mum phoned llanishen court surgery to request a home visit as she was suffering a bad migrain attack. That was seven days ago today. At the time my mum phoned she was told if she couldn't make it to the surgery then she'd have to go on a floating home visit list which meant a doctor would call when they could fit her in. Six day's my mum.has laid in bed with blinds and curtains closed because of the sun. The sun the very gps was telling my mum she was badly lacking hence her sever vitamin D deficiency. This is the way llanishen court surgery treats people which are vulnerable. Receptionist's are rude and extremely patronising and doctors show very little actual care for there patients. Definitely a surgery to be avoided..

Receptionists are very unhelpful and will not help in any way, they think their are doctors because they won’t give an appointment unless they think it’s you need one. Glad to get from there

We have been with the surgery since the 50s when it was a little surgery where the cafe is now, ther has been some lovely Doctors over the years, some very helpful like Dr Jones who came out to our boys when they were small and had child fits, he came out at 2am with his pyjamas under his suit, I had a heart problem 2yr ago just before xmas I was put on the heart monitor, a problem was found and I was sent into the UHW, where I had heart attack and was fitted with stents, I still have problems but I think it is down to me being very sensitive to certain drugs , but with all my contact with the present Doctors I cant really fault them , Dr Evans was a real gentleman it was sad when he passed but the Doctors now I feel do a good job the phone system could be better but over all its a good local surgery where you can get good treatment, so dont knock it completely, you have Doctors to see you if your ill.
