Every time I have contacted the surgery, I am met by nice staff who have tended to my needs immediately. I typically get an appointment with a doctor or nurse as soon as I need one. Even the phone call queues are not long.

I do not have any recommendations. I am satisfied with the work done at Keele GP Surgery.

The doctors here are amazing, especially Dr Laura! Really take the time to make you feel comfortable and talk you through everything about why you are facing the problems that you are and what treatments are available.

The whole system of having to call at 8 am every morning to get an appointment is just shocking and isn’t an inclusive system. You end up being stuck in the call queue for ages and if you’re calling just ten minutes after 8 then you won’t get an appointment at all. The receptionists aren’t always very helpful either especially when they tell you they will ring you back during the day regarding an enquiry but then not ringing back at all! Is happened multiple times where it’s me having to chase it up which is incredibly inconvenient. A better system must be adapted! I saw signs in the surgery about how we can book appointment online but the website is a mess, hard to follow and very outdated which it makes it impossible to navigate how this is possible. I respect that there’s a large demand in appointments (in fact I’m reminded every time I have to call) but something needs to be done about it ASAP because ringing the surgery so often drives me go insanity.

Great service and a great clinic

Dr. Clarson and a handful of other GPS at this practice have provided me with excellent care following a cancer diagnosis. I’ve always felt listened to, understood and cared about here, which I personally feel is rare to come by. Any health concerns I’ve had have always been fairly evaluated, and health anxiety profoundly understood. Also, the receptionists are lovely!

Perhaps offer smear tests booking dates instead of book on the day!
