I have found everyone at the practice respectful, helpful, and hard working.I have also been helped by useful suggestions to treat the whole me rather than only the condition presented. I hope the people at the surgery manage to maintain their humor and helpfulness for as long as I'm there (how selfish can you get) I find the surgery a comfortable safety net, and long may it continue. The surgery doesn't seem to have the care of its patients at heart anymore. Prescriptions are late, can never get an appt. there's nobody to speak to about your care or the concerns you have.

Dear Patient, On reading your view I can only say that we are here to listen please do contact the practice manager. I don't understand regarding scripts as we dedicatedly enusre that scripts are issued with 48 hours of request. I am happy to investigate if your script has been delayed. I don't know how you have measured that the surgery doesn't have care for its patients as we do recieve a high number of compliments and positive comments as you will have seen on this website. The g.p I saw today was excellent , listened to me, treated me with kindness and dignity, and explained what course she was going to take to help me. I found her to be very approachable and helpful, as was the receptionist who I spoke to following my consultation. I have always found this surgery to be patient friendly, and all the doctors very polite and willing to listen and communicate. The surgery is always clean and tidy,

I phoned for an appointment about 9.00am and was able to be seen by a doctor at 4.10 the same day. Everyone was very helpful and very pleasant. The care was first class. I would highly recommend this surgery to everyone.

After writing a letter of complaint regarding the not filling out of requested repeat prescriptions I go to the doctors today to pick up one for my baby. It has not been done again! And I was told quite bluntly that I would have to come back later to get it, clearly I am not expected to have any other commitments. The time now is 4.00pm, the surgery closes at 6.30 and I have a party to take my eldest to from 4.30 - 6.30. (She runs out of medication tomorrow - Saturday - so I have no choice but to cancel the party my eldest was due to go to, just so I can get it tonight!) One very very unhappy patient and child. :(

Please contact the Practice Manager who will investigate the issue and can discuss it with you. Unfortunately prescribing clerks can only follow instructions/ practice policy. Sometimes what had been requested could mean that the drug is being overused and the GP may decide on an alternative or query the overuse. This can cause delays however the patient's safety is of paramount importance. Really sorry that you had to experience this hopefully this can be resolved by understanding surgery procedures and effective communication. Practice Manager
