The drs and nurses staff are always really nice kind and understanding and take the time to explain things ,The only downside is that it is harder to get an appointment now to see a Dr the same day ,but I think it must be like that all over the place now , The one good thing is if the receptionist says all appointments are full but thinks you do need to see a Dr they will advice you to call 111 ,and they will then decide if they think you need to see the Dr that day ,will contact the surgery ,then you will get either a face to face or phone appointment from the drs ,What i like about ecclesfield group practice is they do care
And if they think you need follow up treatment or more investigation, they do this also.
I start work at 8am.it is not possible for me to ring at 8.30, remain in hold then wait for a call back. For Safeguarding reasons I am not permitted to have my phone on my person at work. It is impossible to get an appointment sooner than a month away using the Internet booking system.
I am sorry that you are not happy with the service you have received at our practice. Please visit our website Suggestions & Complaints - Ecclesfield Group Practice (ecclesfieldgp.co.uk)
Got through straight away at 8.30am and was only 8th in the queue
Very hard to get a appointment at short notice.unless you go for when they open which is not always possible if working.
On line hard to get a appointment unless it's a few weeks wait
We have listened to our patient’s feedback, and we have increased the number of appointments available to book online each day. Appointments are available from 8.30am every morning and in advance up to 4 weeks. Demand on our services is extremely high. Sheffield also offer additional appointments at evening and weekends at the HUBS across the city. Michelle Payling, Practice Manager
Nope not easy to get an appointment, you are in a long phone queue only to be told phone back tomorrow when you eventually get through, if receptionist know you need an appointment then they should allocate you to an appointment queue rather that saying phone back tomorrow and wast your time again.
Thank you we value and encourage patient feedback. Our reception staff work extremely hard to answer the high call volume that comes through the surgery. They care navigate to the most appropriate clinician within the primary care team. This can include GPs, Nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and other care providers. We have listened to our patient’s feedback and understand it can be frustrating when waiting in a queue on the telephone, we no offer a telephone call back system, we are hoping this will make the process of contacting the surgery easier.
