I had a query about worsening asthma symptoms and sent an online query. I was then allowed to book an appointment for the next day with the nurse. Due to work, I needed the appointment to be a telephone call. The receptionist was really helpful in facilitating this. The nurse who spoke with me was professional, personable and extremely knowledgeable. Excellent service from start to finish.

Got to speak to a Gp

Offer the chance of sending a photo before a over the phone appointment not after. Would save time all round

Firstly I would like to say that everyone I have had dealings with at the margetson surgery has been wonderful, my complaint lies with the appointment system. The appointment system is so old fashioned, how do you honestly expect patients to keep ringing on a daily basis at 8.30am or queuing up outside in all weathers. The one thing we all have in common is we need to see a doctor. If I can’t get an emergency appointment on the day then why oh why can I not book for the following day? It makes no sense to put patients through such trauma and distress. I suggest that the practice looks at the booking service offered by other countries.

Other than the appointment system being modernised nothing.

Been attending ecclesfield GP for a long time and never had a issue. Some days difficult to get an appointment but most of times no issues

Good rapport with all the support staff and the GP’s.

Perhaps access to triage on line should have more staff to read the online requests.
