Dear Practice Manager
Due to Dr Ghazi's sickness, I accepted an appointment with locum Dr Reginald Anasiudu on 21/3/19 @10.10am. What a gem! He was cheerful, professional, knowledgeable, tactful, competent and thorough-everything one requires from your friendly GP.
Please pass on my thanks to him.
Hopefully, he can be persuaded to remain at BMC.

I was quite concerned about a medical issue on Tuesday I logged on to the website that evening to see if there were any urgent appointments within the next day or so, I couldn’t believe my luck when a 5pm appointment came up online for the next day.
I was seen today by Dr Casey who I have seen once before, what a gentleman and lovely GP he didn’t rush me he listened to me and looked after me, I was so grateful to be seen so quickly and felt in good hands, how lucky are we to have a GP like this in our area and to be seen so quickly and to have my mind put at rest, so grateful. Thank you Dr Casey and the fantastic online booking service.

Today, 19th March, I attended the surgery to clear up a bit of confusion (on my part) about a blood test. The receptionist, Jean, couldn’t have been more helpful arranging for the sample to be taken; and the nurse, Leigh, couldn’t have been more efficient and friendly in dealing with a bloke who really does need to improve his response when confronted with hypodermic needles. Thank you.

Seen as a temporary patient in ‘need’ and was dealt with promptly and sensitively. I felt I was wasting the practice’s time as my needs were minor considered to other people, but my needs required a clinician to prescribe. I am sure a prescribing pharmacist could have solved my issue but these seem to not exist in Thanet.

I can forward your query about prescribing pharmacists to our Clinical Commissioning Group, although I do believe there are some prescribing pharmacists in training in the area. This resource would of course be extremely helpful to patient's and also relieve pressure on services such as ours. I would like to thank Dr Casey and Stephanie (who saw me at short notice recently) not only for their professionalism and advice but also their understanding, reassurance and support which made such a tremendous difference.
I appreciate this is their job but would just like to say "Thank You" for just being them.
There is much criticism of the NHS due to circumstances at present but there is so much good too and I think BMC is an example of this.
