Very caring service provided, especially from Dr Anne Martin. Her prompt actions resulting in an urgent referral to the QEQM for treatment of an acute condition. Many thanks to all concerned.

Was on hold for just under an hour waiting to get through when I finally did was told to call back at 2pm as no appointments was available tried again at 2pm couldn't get through when I finally did was told all appointments had gone again and would have to call out of hours. I phoned out of hours and because I wasn't injured couldn't attend herne bay minor injuries unit and wasn't deemed an emergency for a and e. I waited until Monday for the process to start again and got nowhere had to call 111 who contacted surgery when again at 2pm I had no appoi tent finally at 4.40pm 3days later the receptionist calls giving me an appointment for 30mins later. I had the worst ear infection the Dr had ever seen and had been caused by the nurse who works here getting the scope stuck in my ear and scraping my drum and ear canal causing a hole in my drum causing the infection and I now can't hear properly in that ear.

On Friday 18th October i visited the surgery for a prescription and was told to return at 2pm, on returning I was then told to return back at 5pm. Still there was no prescription ready and was told at this stage that I had to give 3 working days. I left the surgery very stressed and went into the pharmacy next door and the helpful young lady went into the surgery and spoke to them, at which time I was told to go back to the pharmacy the next morning and the painkillers will be there. This receptionist who was on the desk at 5pm was extremely rude and had no compassion what so ever. For someone who is dealing with The sick this is not acceptable! When returning on Saturday morning to the pharmacy the prescription wasn’t there. The pharmacist then gave me 6 tablets for over the weekend and told me to return to her on Monday and she would have the rest of the prescription. I did return to the pharmacy on Monday but still there was no prescription and the pharmacist commented how weird it was that it still hadn’t been given as she had gone in the surgery herself on Friday and spoken to the receptionist. On Monday morning at 8am the surgery was called and after waiting on hold for 45 minutes to then be told there are no appointments and to phone back after 3pm but still at 3pm there are no appointments. Told to call back in the morning. This is an absolutely disgraceful level of care to a patient particularly one that has been diagnosed with suspected lung cancer and is suffering with chronic pain.
