Appointments are not the surgery's fault as everyone knows. Missing appointments can exacerbate this and that is why I want to apologize abjectly for missing my shingles vaccination 1630 4 April. I wont list excuses (child care issue) but I am sincerely sorry.

I have been chasing my medicines from boots, not just for me but my husband also, but boots told me I had to contact the surgery to do this. I came in this morning to the surgery and spoke to the receptionist who was was very pleasant, and asked a member of staff to come help me. What a credit Sarah is to the surgery, she came to see me and explained everything to me how to order through the pod, what information they would need to be able to do this etc. Thank you for being so kind and patient. I have now sorted out our medication .

More information should have been given about the new prescription service to patients.

I wanted to leave a review to thank Bev for all of her help. I had been prescribed a medication that was out of stock at all pharmacies. Bev facilitated an alternative for me and provided me with the bar-code to identify a pharmacy that had it in stock. A slight mishap when the new prescription was sent to the the original pharmacy who also did not have the alternative, not the pharmacy that I had requested, but again Bev was really helpful, ensured that she had solved the problem her end to enable the prescription to be released to the pharmacy that had the medication in stock. All of this was fairly stressful with a whole morning spent on the phone ringing pharmacies & the surgery. However, it would have been far more stressful if it had not been for Bev's help & assistance. Thank you!

Having to wait several time i a queue to speak to someone to sort out the above for more than 25 mins at a time when you have personally identified a pharmacy that has (the last box!) of your medication - before it goes out of stock is very stressful. A way to deal with these types of issues with efficiency (and less stress) would be hugely beneficial.

Dear Patient - Thank you so much for this partially positive review which of course will be shared with Bev. Your comments reference the stress and long wait on the phones has been acknowledged. We would always welcome an email marked urgent to beversbrook@nhs.net which may have taken some of the stress away but I suspect with the deadlines you were facing the verbal communication was useful here.Thank you again for taking the time to write this review. It is appreciated and welcomed. Julie taylor - Patford House Partnership

Routine vaccination- everything was like clockwork all the way from invitation through updating to reception, explanation and the jab. Flawless organisation.

I was directed by the receptionist on the phone to use doctor link and I was given an appointment that day. Upon arrival the girls at reception were happy and smiling and friendly. The waiting room was bright. The dark haired girl at reception talked me through ordering my prescription and was polite and cheerful. Something looks to have changed for the better. The atmosphere is lighter. The nurse was good. What a difference and we can hope things stay this way. Pleasant experience
