The receptionist lady who makes the appointments in the morning is so rude. She really needs to find another job. She makes the whole experience really bad
Booked appt online, arrived to find Doctor had left the practise and my appt hadn't been transferred to any other Doctor. Didn't get to see a doctor at all, and didn't even get an apology. Got the distinct impression that receptionist thought is was my fault!
Excellent appointment with doctor, he was very thorough and reassuring. Reception staff very helpful with making blood test appointment. Only disappointment unable once again to book appointment via the website as telephone contact is difficult and time consuming.
Had an appointment for that dreaded female test today but I must say nurse Holly was exceptional. She talked through the procedure, she talked through possible outcome. She talked about breast care and welcomed any questions. She put me at ease.

The medical attention received at this surgery is world class, caring and meticulous.
What a pity all this let down so badly by the public face of the surgery - the receptionists. They are willfully unhelpful, supercilious, sometimes downright rude. One gets the impression that having to deal with patients is beneath them and an annoying nuisance. My experiences in this regard seem to be commonplace, judging by other comments. The practice manager really needs to deal with this and get them to employ a little more charm. While I would be extremely likely to recommend this surgery to others, I would also warn them that they are likely to face an unpleasant reception from your frontline ladies.
