Isabella Karat first saw me over 3 years ago when I had discovered a lump. At the time I was a private patient. She was honest, compassionate and efficient. She was able (probably because I was private) to operate quickly and I was able to go to the US a week later for a planned family holiday. She sent me results via email while I was away which was brilliant both for me and my family. On my return she advised me to get follow up treatment and I was then referred to her colleague Robert Laing. Again all was successful and I now see them both regularly through the NHS as I no longer have private health insurance. I can’t thank both of these hard working professionals (particularly Isabella who I continue to see rather than her registrar/assistant) for their excellent treatment which has allowed me to continue my life both personal and professional. I appreciate this opportunity to thank them. I know it is not often enough that they get the praise they deserve. Deborah Cross

I would like to take the time to praise Dr Karat for the care and attention she gave me during a very stressful time in my life. Dr Karat was kind , caring and very thorough in every appointment I attended. Isabella went the extra mile to put me at ease and allay any fears I had , this was extremely reassuring as this was my first and hopefully last experience with such an ailment. So from myself and my family I would like to thank Dr Karat for giving me the chance to continue to live a long and normal . Best wishes Ann Pemberton.

Mrs Karat has been direct and compassionate. She really listens and I have felt that my opinions have been taken on board and acted upon. This had been my third consultation and I have left feeling positive and supported. Thank you so much - it has made all the difference.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer and I was referred to Mrs Karat from my first meeting Mrs Karat was amazing, she made me feels so comfortable and treated me as an individual, she did my surgery for the cancer and also a breast reduction at the same time. Each and every visit I have had to make to her clinic since the operation she has made herself available for as long as I have needed her, she has been polite and professional in every way, she has been wonderful. There are not enough words to describe the way this lady works ! I would recommend Mrs Karat to anyone. Keep up the amazing work for ladies like myself who have found themselves with a life changing diagnosis.

Having been diagnosed with breast cancer back in feb this year ( 2018) which was of course just the worst news you could want ,I was put under the care of ms I Karat I have found her to be both clear in her explanations, open to any questions I’ve had however small . Along this difficult journey her confidence and positive manner has put many of my worries to rest, nothing is too much trouble of which my family and I remain so very grateful. I am very lucky to of come out of this with a clear result to date. I still have a ways to go, including a second breast op to ‘balance me up’ once the troublesome breast is healed but I am very happy & thankful to have the continued care of this amazing surgeon as my journey continues.
